Fayettevillle NC Police Chief Gina Hawkins announced her retirement today. She will remain in position until January 17th 2023. Chief Hawkins was selected for this position is 2017. The city managers office will search for the next police chief. If noone is selected by January 17th, the city manager will appoint an interim chief.
