2nd Annual “I Love My Community Cookout & Giveaway” Partners with “All Black BBQ Cook Off” At Murchison Rd. Plaza August 21st 2022.
The all new Murchison Rd. Food Truck Park will welcome 2 incredible events, scheduled August 21st 2022 12pm-5pm to include the “I Love My Community Cookout & Giveaway” & The “All Black BBQ Cook Off”. The BBQ Cook Off has a celebrity guest judge roster that means business! Guest judges include District Court Judge Steve Stokes, District Court Judge Tiffany Whitfield, Food Network’s Chef Judy, Crypto Millionaire Crypto Kwame, NFL Star Greg Gilmore, Boxing Champ Michael Williams Jr, Mayor Mitch Colvin, Strait No Chase Podcast’s Jesse Mitchell. You never know what other celebrities may join in as the grill masters compete for the championship belt! This cook off is being organized by Mr. Bruce Yeomans, owner of Noth’n Fancy Food Truck, along with Mr. Carl Pringle (Flip Flop Sauce) & Jerome Wright. Free samples are available to the public.
The I Love My Community Cookout & Giveaway is organized by Elizabeth Stiff, of L3 Brand Community Alliance & community partners. There will be free food, mental health and family resources, free items to help families start the school year, various organizations, live performances from National Recording Artists. Performers include Kidd Lee, Lamar Cole, Michael Daughtry, Don Yolo & Oso Talented. Special guests, Senator Kirk Deviere & Mayor Mitch Colvin will be presenting awards to members of the community that have been recognized to have an outstanding love for their community.
Donations will be collected by “The Preferred Agents” from now until August 20th.
The Murchison Marketplace plaza & Ms. Tonya Mcneill (Owner of Nzone Social Venue & The Salad Box) provided the opportunity for both events to run at the same time from 12pm-5pm.
