Statement from Jimmy Keefe, Cumberland County Commissioner “We’re under a consent order because the Crown Arena and the Crown Theater — both of those are 60-year-old properties — are not in compliance with current ADA standards. So it’s part of the consent order. We are looking at shuttering the building in October of 2022,”
It would cost approximately 45 million to rebuild. Proposed 75 million dollar performing arts center also proposed.
