Fayetteville Artist Captures Market House In Black Lives Matter Inspired Visual. Introducing Ja’Vell Fierce

Recording Artist Ja’Vell Fierce captures the current climate in Fayetteville NC in touching new visual inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement. This artist spoke wisdom and truth while scenes played out with the Downtown Fayetteville NC Market House in the background, where slaves were sold dated back to the 1800’s. Historians provided slave ads for black women, men and children sold at the market house like livestock. These ads were listed in the same newspaper which now stands today, just as the controversial market house still does. DJ Nothin Nice out of Orlando Florida joined the conversation with Ja’Vell and I earlier this month. He and i had the pleasure of hearing Ja’Vell’s story and taking in this moment in present day history as this young voice speaks truth in a world full of denial.

At the end of the visual, as he speaks about the stolen black lives across the United States, Ja’Vell plays the audio of youth of all ages raising their voices that Black Lives Matter, Should Matter & Will Matter. Listen starting at the 1:59 mark on the youtube video below.
